R. MACK LAWRENCE, PRESIDENT

Mack Lawrence has over 30 years of experience in all phases of the natural gas business. He was originally with Texas Utilities Fuel Company (TUFCO) involved in the gas supply and exploration phases of business. He later became VP-Marketing for Enserch Exploration Inc. where he was involved in marketing of natural gas, oil, and NGL’s worldwide.

Lawrence participated in the formation and ownership of Tristar Gas Company in 1985, which was involved in the gathering, processing, treating and marketing of natural gas. In 1987, Tristar merged into America Central Gas Company, which in 1988 was recognized by Inc. Magazine as the fastest growing private company. Tristar Gas Company was re-formed in 1990 as a separate company and continued in the same business segments. Lawrence sold his interest in Tristar in 1993.

From 1997 through 1999, Lawrence and Jim Bryant operated Cardinal Gas Services, Ltd., a contract gas treating company.

Lawrence and Bryant founded Grapevine Gas Processing, Ltd. in 2000 and in 2001 Lawrence co-founded Cardinal Gas Services, LLC, a contract gas treating company.

In 2003, Lawrence was a co-founder and Executive Vice President of Regency Gas Services, LLC, which owned assets consisting of approximately 3,000 miles of pipelines, 115,000 horsepower of compression and five gas processing plants with aggregate processing capacity of 330 million cubic feet of gas at the time of its sale to Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst Incorporated.

Most recently, Lawrence was a co-founder of Cardinal Gas Solutions LP, a contract gas treating company that was later sold to Crosstex Energy Services, L.P.
